BOGUS BASIN

Saturday, March 8 -- Ullr Fest
Ullr, in Norse mythology, is the patron saint of winter snow and skiing. The 'Ullr Fest' is to thank Ullr for the abundance of snow this season with a Poker Run, Parade and après ski festivities.

SCHWEITZER

March 14-16 -- Stomp Games
One of the biggest events of the year. Three days of competition with five events. There is a total guaranteed prize purse of $10,000.00 CASH up for grabs. Even if you're not competing, it's worth coming up for the show. All the events can be seen from the base area.

SUN VALLEY

March 14-16 -- 48STRAIGHT, a consolidation of the Jeep King of the Mountain Series and the Ketchum based Ski Tour, is a jam-packed weekend of on-snow and off-snow activities designed to celebrate the mountain culture. The event will include ski and snowboard cross racing and half pipe competitions, over a dozen live concerts, street parties, fashion shows, film festivals and environmental expos. Saturday, March 15 -- Bogus Basin Freeride Series Hip competition
The Hip Comp, sponsored by the EcoLounge, is the third event in the Bogus Basin Freeride series.

Saturday, March 15 -- Carve & Slice (Ski & Golf)
Ski and golf in the same day - it's what living here is all about! This 2nd annual fundraising event benefits the Butch Wolf Memorial Scholarship Fund, providing financial assistance to the Junior High and High School Race programs.

Sunday, March 16 -- American Cancer Society Hope on the Slopes
Support the American Cancer Society and hit the slopes to give hope. Ski or snowboard to raise money for cancer research. Discounted lift tickets with your event bib.

Saturday through Monday, March 22-24 - J3 Olympics

Saturday, March 29 - Spring Slopestyle
Sponsored by the Board Room, the final event in the Bogus Basin Freeride Series.

GRAND TARGHEE

March 14-16 -- 15th Annual Anheuser-Busch Spring Snow Games
An event that has become a virtual rite of spring, the "Annual Anheuser-Busch Spring Snow Games" will once again be celebrated on the slopes of Grand Targhee Resort.

March 22-23 -- Grand Targhee Freeskiiing Rendezvous
Grand Targhee Resort will hold a Freeskiing competition off the North side of Peaked Mountain. This competition will be limited to 50 competitors (male and female skiers) 11 - 17 years, on a first come, first-serve sign-up.

March 22 -- Habitat Rail Jam Contest Series & Freestyle Clinic
In partnership with Habitat, Grand Targhee Ski & Snowboard School is offering a Freestyle Snowboard Clinic and Rail Jam series. The Rail Jam is open to both skiers and snowboarders. All Freestyle clinic participants receive free entry into the Rail Jam contest.

March 8 - North Idaho College Uphill/Downhill Race

March 15 -- Free Ski School - Graduation & BBQ. Costume contest and prizes!

March 15 - Lookout Ski Shop Ski & Board Demo Day

March 15/16 -- Emerald Youth Ski League Finals - Alpine GS & SL

March 17 -- St. Pattys Day - Corned beef and green beer!

March 7 -- Locals' Cup Race Series
Get your team together and hit the slopes! Telemarkers, Skiers and Boarders are all welcome to sign up or drop in for the sweetest dual GS races of the season. Includes lots of parties, awards and good times!

March 7-9 -- Subaru Factory Team Women's Camp
Skiing, coaching, and video analysis by members of the Subaru Factory Team and Kate Underwood.

March 9 -- Club Alpine Race
This GS Race is available to Skiers and Boarders. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.

March 12 -- Super G Camp
Super G camp is open to anyone of any age and intermediate ability or better with the desire to learn elements common to the speed events of alpine racing. Focus will be directed at the fundamentals of super G racing; ie. skiing the proper line, course inspection and proper technique and tactics.

March 22 -- Jeep Terrain Park Challenge
The Jeep Terrain Park Challenge is a progressive program that recognizes a need for rider education. The program moves around the country to drop in to the nation's terrain parks to promote the SMART STYLE message in a hands-on way that sure ain't a classroom!
